Electrical and Electronics industry has a vital role in the growing economy of Mexico. Around 19% of labour force is involved in the industry. However, the sector faces risks in many aspects regarding the proper functioning as a result of the economic recession. In order to boost the economy, the market is compelled to satisfy the increased demand for complying with the international standards and systems.

Funded by DEG and together with TÜV NORD MEXICO, Asia Society for Social Improvement and Sustainable Transformation (ASSIST) implements Project CARE Mexico. The project aims to assist the electrical and electronics industry of Mexico to comply with the international standards and systems.

The web portal is created as part of the project and paves the way for the exchange of relevant information and experiences of stakeholders involved in the project and in the electrical and electronics industry.
